1955 EPIC SERIES Stratocaster Pickup Set Authentic in Every Way, These Pickups Need To Be In Every 50s Strat, This Is What A 50s Strat Sounds Like. This set is made to replicate exact fender 1955 pickups, in look, tone, and feel. This was taken from a set of 1955 pickups that were in shop for a rewind. Exact magnet strength of each pole piece, precise measurements, and the exact stagger is used in it's construction. Cast Alnico 5 magnets, gaussed individually to exact 1955 measurements, taken from an Original 1955 Stratocaster Set. Aged, both the magnets & bobbins. Each bobbin has the same tool marks as seen in only the earliest fender pickups, each assembly is Nitrocellulose lacquered. Wound with the exact same scatter wound pattern that all of Leo's earliest winders used. Once the pickup is wound we lightly wax pot them to avoid microphonic feedback.
*These Pickups are only sold in sets. These have a unique stagger only found in 1955 pickups so we only will be selling these as a complete set.

NEW Jazzy Cat Stratocaster Pickup Set - "We use these in our Black Strat" The long awaited release of the Jazzy Cat set is the closest that one can get to Euphoria in tone. We have spent countless hours researching, to obtain all the information necessary to build a set of pickups that gets this Tone. We went through several dozen test sets in the development, fine tuning each to get as close as possible. We also had to order special magnets to stock for this set. The neck has a very unique stagger while the middle & bridge have the same stagger it is as well is different from traditional vintage stagger. These pickups are low in output, very clean, while still full in the low end, provides that extreme crystal clean quack which is a signature characteristic to this set. The set has Hand Beveled Magnets, it's wax potted, & RWRP. (We can also wind a NON-RWRP for a little more top end in the # 2 & 4 Position - No additional Cost)
These pickups are only sold as sets and here's why. Each pickup with its unique stagger plays a part in how the quack is developed in the out-of-phase position. If you mix and match pickups you will not get the same results. We tested this set of pickups through a Two Rock amp we have here at the shop and with just a touch of reverb from the amp it achieves tonal euphoria.
These pickups also put your guitar in the tonal range so you can get some killer Hendrix and SRV tones. This set also is great for playing some smokehouse blues, so don't think you will be limited in your tone for playing this set.

Looking for a Scooped Mids Stratocaster Tone? This Stratocaster pickup set utilizes Alnico 5 magnets in a vintage staggered configuration, has a scooped mid range, and is scatter wound. Comes hand wound with the more expensive 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire and is RWRP in the middle position. We have discovered the winding technique to achieve this scooped tone. The set has lots of low end and trebles. The pickup has a scooped mid range and gives an extremely glassy, clean, woody type tone, and a creamy compression. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics. Superb clean strat tone. Very articulate quack in the out of phase positions.

S-7 Stratocaster Pickups. If you are chasing a late Fender 50's/early 60's tone this Stratocaster pickup set nails it.
We began by reverse engineering a trio of pickups. The neck and middle pickup is constructed with the larger diameter Vintage Staggered Alnico 3 magnets wrapped with 42ga Heavy Formvar magnet wire and scatter wound. The bridge is stronger and utilizes Alnico 5 vintage staggered magnets. This set is full, warm, and faithfully creates the vintage stratocaster pickups tone found in the 50's/60's. Handwound, RWRP middle, wax potted, & vintage cloth lead wires. Output: Neck 5.85k, Middle 5.95k, Bridge 6.85k
These pickups can be used with standard 250k or 375k CTS Pots, as well as some Bourne 300k pots.

S-6 Low Output Stratocaster Pickups. After years of custom orders for this set we finally have released it. This stratocaster pickup set is just that, low output. The set has Vintage Staggered Alnico 5 magnets, wound with 42ga Poly magnet wire, scatter wound, black forbon flatwork, and vintage cloth lead wires. The tone of this set is warm punchy low end, naturally it has a scooped mid range, and a crystal clear top end with out any ice pick. If you are searching for a set of pickups that is by far lower than any others on the market today, this set is yours. This set will allow you to crank up the amp with out the signal getting muddy. By no means does this set lack any presence that traditional strat pickups bring. Full, Bright, quacky, and spanky are just a few words to describe this set. S-8 Stratocaster Pickup Set: The Tone of this stratocaster pickup set is modeled after the Fender Black Stratocaster, the one we have here at the shop.
We began this set by reverse engineering another Trio of pickups. We use this set in our Black Strat. The neck is wound with 42ga Heavy Formvar magnet wire, vintage staggered Alnico 5 magnets, and scatter wound. Middle is a special over wound late 60's pickup, Alnico 5 staggered & the more expensive 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire. The bridge is an Alnico 2 staggered, poly over wound pickup and it is powerful. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.

Stratocaster Bridge P90 Pickup. This pickup has enough crunch and power to be classified as a P90. There is no modifications needed for you guitar. The pickup is wound with 3/4 inch tall Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar magnet wire. The output of this pickup is 8.25k with a steel bridge plate. Bridge plates can add up to 10% to the sound of the pickups output. This puts the pickup at just over 9k. HOT output for all solo's and leads. The pickup is wound on black vulcanized fiber and comes with vintage cloth lead wires. The pickup can be wound in either polarity and either direction. Output 8.2k

We strive to make the best pickup that will suit exactly to your needs. Looking for high output? 8-9K? How about low output? 3-4k? We use 3 different forms of magnet wire and 4 different grades of magnets. Be sure to enter your contact information correctly. You will not be charged until your specifications are agreed upon.
When ordering be sure to include:
-2 outputs: ie 5.5k/6.75k for each pickup
-Grade of magnet: Alnico 2,3,4,5
-Type of magnet wire: Formvar, Enamel, Poly
