 |
| Description: |
1954 Epic Series Original Alloy Alnico 3 Stratocaster Pickups.
- Magnets, Our Epic Series 1954 Pickups use Original Alloy Alnico 3. We sent Original magnets to an Independent Laboratory for Metallurgical Chemical Analysis Testing. We then contracted direct with our magnet manufacturer to get the Alnico 3 magnets Specially Poured to the exact composition of the Originals. We are the only manufacturer who offers this. Pure, Sweet, and Authentic Tone.
- Wire, Our 42ga Heavy Formvar wire is not just stock wire. We have sent dozens of samples of wire from early stratocasters for analysis. We get our 42ga Heavy Formvar built to the exact specs of the samples we have had analyzed. Exact Resistance, Exact ID & OD, & Color matching.
- Tone, the tone of our Authentic 1954 pickups is simply breathtaking. You will never hear a more pure sounding 1954 pickup. These are some of the most balanced sounding pickups, the low end is nice and fat, the mids are present but not overpowering, the treble frequencies are very clear but not piercing.
- Compression, current production Alnico 3 is very bright & brittle, it has a rather harsh upper mid range compression. The Original Alloy Alnico 3 is by far more mellow sounding and has a lower mid range compression. This is what you hear when you A/B them to a real 54.
Whether you are playing a 1954 or just switching pickups in your favorite axe, these 1954's will be one of the best upgrades you can possibly make. We tested these pickups is multiple strats, Alder, Ash, Mahogany, Basswood, in both Maple & Rosewood necks. There was no combination that did not sound excellent.

1956 Epic Series Stratocaster Pickups (Klein Pickups LLC)

 |
 |
| Description: |
1956 EPIC SERIES Stratocaster Pickup Set Authentic in Every Way, These Pickups Need To Be In Every 1956 Model Guitar.
- Magnets, Our Epic Series 1956 Pickups use Original Fender Alloy Alnico 5 Magnets From 1956. We sent Original magnets from a 1956 pickup to an Independent Laboratory for Metallurgical Chemical Analysis Testing. We then contracted direct with our magnet manufacturer to get the Alnico 5 magnets Specially Poured to the exact composition of the Originals.
Our 42ga Heavy Formvar Wire is the most authentic and accurate Magnet Wire Available.
- Tone, the tone of our Authentic 1956 pickups is simply amazing, stunning, and authentic. You will never hear a more pure sounding pickup. People often ask us why vintage pickups sound so good. Well, the main reason why is that materials used in the 50s & 60's are not the same as today's off the shelf parts. Replicating every alloy, every element, every aspect of a pickup is why our 1956 Epic Series Pickups sound identical to a real 1956 pickup. We get every part of the Epic 1956 pickups specially manufactured, only for us, from an actual 1956 pickup. We've A/B them and the tones are identical.
- Compression, the current Alnico 5 alloy is very strong, very bright, & has quite a brittle edginess. One of the first things that is noticeable is that original magnets aren't as strong. This is not due to demagnetizing (like every other manufacturers does), but it's due to the chemical composition. 1956 ash body guitars are know for their sweet clean tones but with their uncanny ability to drive the signal with out a heavy mid range. The pickups are just that, clean & driven, a perfect combination for any strat players who's wanting a REAL STRAT Sound.
The early strats are highly collectible, very expensive, are their tone is jaw dropping, so now is your chance to get them in your guitar. 1956 guitars and pickups fetch a steep price tag. We tested these pickups is multiple strats, Alder, Ash, Mahogany, Basswood, in both Maple & Rosewood necks. There was no combination that did not sound excellent. If you are wanting a closer rendition, ash/maple.
Fun Fact, about half way through 1956, fender switched over to alder bodies, paving the way for the ever so classic and iconic 1957 stratocaster guitar.
All pickups are "Flash Potted" to avoid microphonic squeal but still retains the natural characteristics just like original pickups.

This pickup is the only pickup in the world who retains these natural swirls.

Jazzy Cat Stratocaster Pickups (Klein Pickups LLC)
|
 |
 |
 |
| Description: |
Jazzy Cat Stratocaster Pickup Set - "We use these in our Black One Strat" Same Outputs, Same Inductance, Same Stagger. Scooped Mid Range Tone. The closest that one can get to Euphoria in tone. We have spent countless hours researching, to obtain all the information necessary to build a set of pickups that gets this Tone. We went through several dozen test sets in the development, fine tuning each to get as close as possible. We also had to order special magnets to stock for this set. The neck has a very unique stagger while the middle & bridge have the same stagger, but it is as well is different from traditional vintage stagger. These pickups are lower in output (not low output) providing that scooped mid range tone, very clean, while still full in the low end, provides that extreme crystal clean quack which is a signature characteristic to this set. The set has Hand Beveled Magnets, wax potted, & RWRP.
Extensive testing was done on a Two Rock amp we have here at the shop and with just a touch of reverb from the amp it achieves tonal euphoria.
These pickups also put your guitar in the tonal range so you can get some killer Hendrix and SRV tones. This set also is great for playing some smokehouse blues, so don't think you will be limited in your tone for playing this set.
