This Esquire is wound with Alnico 3 Flush mount magnets and 42ga Enamel wire which follow specs of the earliest Fender 1950 esquire guitars, June-October 1950, output is 7.6k. Baseplate included and black cotton around the coil. The tone of the pickups is meaty and full. Very strong and smooth compression with great attack. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.
