Dirty Texan Stratocaster Pickups: set utilizes a combination of 2 types of magnets. The Neck and Middle pickup are made with Alnico 2 Flat magnets and 42ga Poly wire. The Bridge pickup is made with Alnico 5 Flatpole magnets and 42ga Poly. The neck & middle pickups are wound to vintage type specs with a very slight scooped mid range and the bridge is strong and overwound. This set is great for players who are needing a vintage tone & powerful bridge. Poly wire is a very warm wire and compresses the signal with a nice even balance. Very smooth and articulate set. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics. And of course we can't forget the scatter winding. The outputs are: Neck 5.6k, Middle 6k, Bridge 7.5k.
