Higher Output Pickup; Vintage Staggered Alnico 2 magnets, 42ga Plain Enamel. The S-3 Classic pickup has a bit less attack which improves the sustain, has a solid mid-range with out being dark. This has a well rounded range of tones, rock, classic rock, & smoky blues. All S-3 pickups are matched with RWRP in position 2 & 4. Contains vintage cloth lead wires. Pickups are handwound with the classic scatter wind which improves the harmonics found only in single coils. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics. Output Neck 7.0k, Middle 7.2k, Bridge 7.5k.
