Each Pickup starts it's life as a piece off a 4'x8' piece of black/gray forbon.  Each pickup takes about 4 hours of labor to complete.  Here we take pride in winding all of our pickups once they are ordered, not ahead of time.


Due To A High Demand Our Current Wind Time Is Running At 10-14 Days.  All pickups are handwound which takes time.  Tone can not be rushed.



   Telecaster Neck Mini Humbucker (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Mini Humbucker Neck Pickup For Tele.  Wound with 42ga Plain Enamel, Alnico 5 Magnet, Chrome Cover.  Our neck pickup is wound to 6.4k which provides a nice, clean, and crunchy compression.   These are warm necks and add a lot of depth to the neck position of any tele.  Wax Potted.  Steel Braided Lead.

   Broadcaster Pickup Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: 50's Broadcaster pickup Set.  This "Blackguard" Broadcaster pickup is made for all Authentic Fender Telecaster players.  The Broadcaster Bridge Pickup has Flushmount Larger Diameter .197' Alnico 3 magnets, 43 gauge Plain Enamel, Black cotton around the coil, and finally Period correct Steel baseplates.  This bridge is powerful and ballsy but still retains the telecaster pickup tones.  The neck pickup was designed to maintain the strength and tone of our bridge pickup.  Our broadcaster neck picukp is constructed with Alnico 3 magnets, 43ga Plain Enamel magnet wire, and Nickel-Silver Chrome cover.  The neck pickup is full, round sounding, which has a slightly heavier mid range section.  Need pickups with more mid range drive, this pickup is for you.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output: Bridge 9.5k, Neck 8.3k.

   Telecaster Little Boy 90 Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Little Boy 90 set incorporates a Gibson Style P-90 with a standard sized Telecaster bridge.  The bridge pickup is thick and powerful, uses tall Alnico 5 magnets, warm 42ga Poly wire, and has a tight compression with the output of 10.25k.  Surprised by all this neck still retains classic tele tones.  Roll the volume back to 7 and you have a 50s classic tone.  The P-90 is specially constructed to match the output specific to the bridge.  The powerful neck is constructed with 42ga Poly wire & pair of Specially Gaussed Alnico 5 magnets.  The output of the neck pickup is 7.8k.  The tone of the neck is full and round, with plenty of power to push your amp.  Full, Crunchy, has a well defined midrange, & a Full Top and Bottom with out the harsh highs.

   Telecaster Little Boy Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Telecaster Little Boy Set incorporates a standard sized bridge paired with a Humbucker in the neck.  The bridge pickup is thick and powerful, uses tall Alnico 5 magnets, warm 42ga Poly wire, and has a tight compression with the output of 10.25k.  Surprised by all this neck still retains classic tele tones.  Roll the volume back to 7 and you have a 50s classic tone.  The neck humbucker is specially wound to match the bridge.  Would just like original PAF's this neck has an output of 7.4k, 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire, Long Bar specially gaussed Alnico 2 magnet for authentic vintage tone.

   Tri-State Telecaster Bridge (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Tri-State Telecaster Bridge Pickup

Version 1.  Triple tapped pickup.  The pickup starts with Large Diameter .197 Alnico 3 flush mount, 42ga Plain Enamel.  The first tap is wound with low output Telecaster twang in mind, 4.7k.  The 2nd tap shifts to a Fenders 60's output which lies at 6.3k.  The 3rd tap winds to 7.9k which is Esquire spec.

Version 2. Triple tapped pickup.  The pickup starts with Large Diameter .197 Alnico 3 flush mount, 42ga Plain Enamel. The first tap is wound to 5.2k a 50's low wind for the ultimate pure country tone.  The second tap lends to a mid 60's output at 6.7k.  The third tap winds to 8.3k which is a slightly overwound Esquire and lies closer to a Nocaster bridge output.  This pickup is a perfect for all esquires.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.

   Fat Man Tele Bridge (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Fat Man:   Looking for a Tele Bridge Pickup with an output of a P-90/Humbucker for your Fender.  This bridge incorporates 3/4 inch Alnico 5 flush mounted magnets with warm sounding 42ga poly magnet wire.  The output is about 10k.  The pickup has extreme clarity with plenty of power to push any amp just like the traditional P-90's.  The pickup comes with white or black cotton wrapped around the coil.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.    '54 Telecaster Pickup Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: 1954 Telecaster Pickup Set wound to Original Fender specs.  Alnico 3 magnets, bridge has raised D & G magnets, 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire, and an output of about 7.2k on the bridge and 5.5k on the neck.  Output of the pickup produces a full, round, medium warm tele tone with a smooth overdrive. Wanting the 50's Tele tone? You need this set.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output: Neck 5.5k, Bridge 7.2k.

   Early 50's Neck (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Early 50's Telecaster Neck pickup.  This neck is modeled after Fender specs from the early 1950's.  The pickup comes with Alnico 3 magnets with Enameled magnet wire wound to 7.70k output, and will bring out the smooth tele character of your guitar with plenty of crunch and drive.  This pickup is hot compared to the later 60's era pickups.  The pickup comes wax potted, vintage cloth lead wire, and a nickel-silver chrome cover.   Output Neck 7.7k.

Description: This Esquire is wound with Alnico 3 Flush mount magnets and Enamel wire which follow specs of the earliest Fender esquire guitars, output is 7.6k.  Baseplate included and black cotton around the coil.  The tone of the pickups is meaty and full.  Very strong and smooth compression with great attack.   Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output 7.6k

   Tapped Tele Bridge 50's & Esquire (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Get the Best of the 50's with this Telecaster Bridge.  Esquire & 50's bridge.

50's Lead pickup is configured with Raised D & G Alnico 3 magnets.  Handwound with Enamel magnet wire and white cotton wraps the coil.  This pickup is very articulate and full.  No brash ice picking in this pup.  Early 50's lower output bridge: Output 6.60k.

Esquire is wound with Alnico 3 Flush mount magnets and Enamel wire which follow specs of the earliest esquire pickups, output is 7.6k.  Baseplate included and black cotton around the coil.  The tone of the pickups is meaty and full.  Very strong and smooth compression with great attack.  Output 7.6k

The Tapped version uses the Flush mount Alnico 3 magnets.
Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.

   Tapped Tele Bridge Esquire & High Output Pickup (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Tapped Esquire & High Output Bridge Pickup.  Tapped pickups utilize 2 pickups in 1.  This pickup is an Esquire (7.6k) and High output (8.75k).  Alnico 3 flush mount magnets wound with Enameled magnet wire.  Black cotton wrapped around the coil.   Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  1 SPDT or Push/Pull pot is needed to utilize both coils.

   '50s Telecaster Pickup Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: 1950's Set:  Lead pickup is configured with Raised D & G Alnico 3 magnets.  Handwound with 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire and white cotton wraps the coil.  Neck is wound with the same Alnico 3 magnets and 43ga Plain Enamel wire.    Dallas Blues Telecaster Pickup Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Dallas Blues Tele Set,  Constructed using Flush Alnico 2 magnets, 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire and cloth lead wires.  The best blues tone is achieved, funky deep bass, clean brilliant trebles, and a nice balanced mid range, is what makes this set the best.  Use this set to play any range of Blues, Funk, or Classic rock.  This set takes pedals very good.   Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output: Neck 7.5k & Bridge 8.50k.

   Nocaster Pickup (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Nocaster Pickup.  This pickup is modeled after exact specs from the early 50s Fender Nocasters.  The pickup comes with Alnico 3 magnets with 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire wound to 7.90k output and will bring out the smooth tele character of your guitar with plenty of crunch and drive.  This pickup is hotter compared to the later 60's era pickups.  The pickup comes wax potted, vintage cloth lead wire, and the neck has nickel-silver chrome cover.  Period Correct Zinc Baseplate.

   Early 70's Bridge (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: Early 70's Telecaster Bridge pickup.  This bridge has the gray bobbin found in the early 70's lead pickups.  The pickup has Alnico 5 magnets with a raised D and G found in this era, and is wound with 42ga Plain Enameled magnet wire, black cotton wrapped protecting the coil, and an output of about 6.15k.   This pickup has telecaster quack with enough crunch to punch through the amp.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output Bridge 6.1k.

   '67 Telecaster Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: 1967 Telecaster Set.  Wound to '67 Fender specs.  Neck wound with 43ga Plain Enamel, Alncio 5, and output of 6.9k.  Bridge pickup is wound to 6.5k, Alnico 5 raised D & G, and 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire.  Tele Nickel silver chrome cover included.  The neck is very meaty.  Bridge pickup has that traditional tele sound.  White Cotton wrapped around the Bridge coil.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Neck 6.9k, Bridge 6.5k.

   1970 Coffee Break Pickup (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: 1970 Coffee Break Telecaster Bridge pickup.  This bridge has the grey bobbin found in the early 70's lead pickups.  The pickup has Alnico 5 magnets with a raised D and G found in this era, and is wound with 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire, black cotton wrapped protecting the coil, and an output of about 8.6k   This pickup has a fat tele crunch with enough punch to drive the amp. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output Bridge 8.6k


Coffee Break Pickups - A term used to describe when pickups were overwound by accident.

   5 & 2 Telecaster Overwound Pickup Set (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: High Output Telecaster pickup that utilize both Alnico 5 & Alnico 2 magnets in the construction of the pickup.  The (EAD) strings use Alnico 5 & the (GBE) strings use Alnico 2 magnets.  This helps balance out the traditionally tele quack.  Wound with 42ga Enamel magnet wire and comes with vintage cloth lead wires.  RWRP on all sets.   The sound is clean with out the "ice pick" traditional tele sound.  Smooth overdrive.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Output Neck 6k, Bridge 8k.

   T-2 High Output Pickup (Klein Pickups LLC)
Description: High Output Pickup; Alnico 2 flat pole, scatter wound & wax-potted. The T-2 has a lot of low-end & a bit less attack than the T-1. This provides a more refined Tele sound.  This set provides more mid range crunch and will compress the front of the amp. Handwound with 42ga Plain Enamel.  This set works well with Heavy Blues and Rock.  RWRP cancels hum in the middle position. Contains vintage cloth lead wires.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.  Nickel-Silver chrome pickup cover.  Output Neck 6k, Bridge 8k.

Description: Rare Alnico 4 Telecaster Pickup Set.  This rare magnet type creates one of the most brilliant and clear clean tone of any pickup out there.  They are wound with the neck to 6k and bridge to 8k, wound with 42ga Heavy Formvar magnet wire and consists of flat pole magnet configuration.  They are often referred to me as the prettiest clean Jazz tone.  This set is best suited for players who are looking for clean brilliance to light distortion.  If you are looking for heavy break up or distortion this is not for you.  They come with Vintage cloth lead wires, RWRP in the middle position, and lightly waxed to cancel microphonics.  Nickel-Silver chrome pickup cover.  Output Neck 6k, Bridge 8k.
